Courtney & Alex ~ Greens at Renton

Saturday blessed us with a lovely sprinkle of snow and temperatures that could almost be considered warm for Canadian winter. In short we could not have asked for better weather from Mother Nature to celebrate the union of this adorable couple. Just before I met up with the guys who were looking totally relaxed and the snow began lightly falling, creating a gorgeous backdrop for the crisp suits the gentlemen would adorn (right after they finished fighting with those pesky ties!). After a few shots of the dapper groomsmen I headed over to see the girls who were indulging in a favourite Canadian pastime of the annual Roll Up the Rim. With finishing touches on hair, makeup and speeches the details of dresses, shoes and jewellery were completed and they were looking gorgeous and ready to head to the church. With a beautiful ceremony behind us and an adorable new couple to celebrate we headed to the Greens at Renton to get the party started! All warmed up from the cozy limo this bridal party was ready to brave the snow for a few outdoor photos. Looking gorgeous in their fur shawls and dapper in their three piece suits they stood out against the beautiful snowy background with just a touch of pink cheeks for colour. After we captured a few shots we sent the bridal party in to warm up while these newlyweds took a few minutes to relax and warm each other up before heading in to be introduced and start the celebrations. With some hilarious speeches from the bridal party, parents and the couple of honour it was time to get down to the dance floor and bust some moves. With the first dances complete it was time to open up the dance floor and get everyone moving. As I stepped out for the evening it looked like the party was just getting started and there was a great night ahead. Thank you for allowing me to witness your gorgeous day and the honour of documenting these special moments for you. I wish you all the best in your marriage and the future!
